To My Valentine,

Hi Love. First off, thank you for being mine. Thank you for choosing me six years ago. Thank you for following your heart. Thank you for trusting your heart to mine and letting us flourish as one rather than as two.

Thank you for proposing. Thank you for being the man God creating you to be. Life handed us some hard times but your strong foundation kept us strong. You are meant for me, I just know it. You are such a great guy who remembers that although I really appreciate the everyday little things you do for me, I also really love gifts too ;). You remember that flowers brighten my day and somehow you always arrange it so I am completely surprised and caught off guard. You always make sure that our marriage always keeps some spontaneous aspect to it.

Thank you for calling me during the day, just because. You always take the time to text me just to say hello. You let me know you think about me even though we are apart during the day. Thank you for working hard to support your family. Thank you for doing it cheerfully and most days being able to come home happy even if your day wasn't that great. You amaze me with your great attitude and how you are always willing to lend me a hand when it comes to our daughter or making supper.

Thank you for being appreciative of me. You know that I don't expect you to always say thank you for a meal I prepare but you always do, without fail. You share my desire for being a stay-at-home mom and you do everything in your power to make that happen. You push me to have my own alone time too, because you know I need it. You forgive my short comings when it comes to having our house always in a need and orderly fashion, somehow you know just when to give grace.

Most of all hun, above all, thank you for being an incredible father. Thank you for being our little girl's hero. You are the man most important to her at this stage of her life and what you do with her now, impacts her view on men for the rest of her life. You do such a great job -- she has an amazing daddy. You aren't afraid of showing her how much you love and adore her mommy. Thank you for showing our daughter that daddies kiss mommies when they come home from work and that they love them no matter what. I could go on forever about how grateful I am for your presence in her life. You are so good with her! Thank you for spoiling her just a little bit ;).
