Safe, Healthy And Grateful

I have so, so many things to be thankful for. After an extremely rough and stressful week, things are finally looking up.

We are all recovering from the flu. I had it bad, passed it onto my daughter. She's almost completely healthy now and I'm continuing with the antibiotics until they're empty. I'm thankful that we live in a land where medicine is readily available and for the knowledgeable doctor who prescribed them for us. I'm thankful for health insurance. I thank God that we only had to deal with the flu and not something more life threatening.

After many, many cold winter days, things are getting warmer around here. We've ventured out with B and let her run around in the snow and she loves it. Our dog is finally getting some human interaction and they've had time to bond.

I'm thankful that life continues to sustain us. That we are able to breathe good, clean air. I'm thankful that I live in a land so rich and free. Troubling times surround us in different parts of the world, yet here I sit in amazing freedom. I'm continuing to pray for Japan, Libya and all the parts of the world who are in turmoil right now.

Thank you God for keeping me safe, healthy and alive. I'm so grateful.
