Today I'm Thankful

Its cold outside. But I am warm inside our cozy house, listening to the crackling wood burning in our wood stove.

I'm out of baking ideas. I ask for simple recipes and JessieLeigh directs me to her Blondie Brownies recipe. Yum!

I'm bored. I have the chance to get out of the house and chat with my aunts at our monthly get-together. B can run and play with kids her own age and I can just relax.

I'm uninspired. My mom invites me to my sister's basketball game. Its a heated match, only decided in the second overtime. They lose but my daughter doesn't know the difference. She cheers and claps her hands because her favorite person is on the court.

My daughter's bored. I keep her occupied with my stereo {and all the fancy buttons}. We have a new stereo system downstairs in our make-shift theatre room. Now I have my stereo all to myself upstairs and can blast my favorite tunes as loud as I want. I'm listening to Natalie Grant's "Love Revolution" CD right now.

And when I feel lonely, I write a post and remind myself of all my bloggy friends. Look who else is linking up to Amy's Finer Things Friday :).
